This is the poster for the vampire movie Gothic.
The poster has a eerie and mysterious feeling with a creepy looking vampire, that has kneeled down, ready to do somthing to the innocent sleeping woman. The woman seems to have a beautiful face, which makes the creature look more ugly because we can contrast their looks instantly. The vampire has a man-like apperance, and because the woman is in the bed with the creature sleeping soundly, we can predict that the vampire might have approached to the woman with a human apperance like other vampires, which is like a mask to get to her and suck her blood. Also, because the woman is wearing lingerie and the man vampire is naked, it gives an appeal of sex. Additionally, the vampire is sitting on top of the woman which gives a feeling of achievement of strength as a man, and that the vampire is going to drink the woman's blood.
In the background, we can see that the color behind the vampire is black and dark. The dark shadow shows that something bad is going to happen. Moreover, the scene, vampire, and woman have orange-reddish colors on them, which represents the color of blood and blends with the dark background, to make the whole atmosphere more intense. The curtains are heading downwards which shows that the vampire's hand is definentlyheading downwards.
Black and red are usually colors of sex appeal as well, and most vampire movies have sexual scenes that pleases the humans inner desires of excitement and curiosity.
The funny thing is that the whole background is dark and intense, but the bed the woman is laying on is bright green. Green is a color that is known as to pure our mind, and rest our eyes. This shows that the woman is an innocent and pure being resting in peace, without knowing what is going to happen to her, which gives us sympathy that she might forever rest in peace.
The quote is above the vampire with his eyes towards it, which seems that the quote is being told by the vampire, and he is claiming that he is the one that can bring our deepest fear into life.
